Legendary river rat Phil Coleman writes books too. The son of an Olympic steeplechaser/professor of English, and a razor sharp environmental activist it’s easy to see whence Phil’s athletic and literary prowess derive. With two novels, ‘The Sand Tower’ and ‘Sins of the Pilot’, and a third on the way, Phil draws from his love of boating, his love of nature, and his hope for the future as the drivers for his life. When he’s not on the water, he’s writing about it, defending its quality, of fixing paddlers’ paddles so they can continue to enjoy it. You can find Phil’s first two books on Amazon and Lulu; you can find Phil on the river.
